Our History
Established in 2010 through the visionary efforts of Dr. Professor Kalifungwa a former Minister of Tourism and partners, LIUTEBM University originated as an initiative aimed at instilling professionalism in the hospitality and tourism sector. Over time, the institution evolved, incorporating complementary aspects from various fields. Initially located on Makishi Road in the town center of Lusaka, Zambia, the university responded to the dynamic needs of its students and the growing demand for expanded facilities. In 2019, LIUTEBM University relocated to 2nd Street, Ibex Extension, Lusaka, Zambia, providing a refreshed student environment and enhancing campus capacity to better cater to the diverse educational pursuits of its community. This strategic move underscores the institution’s commitment to adaptability, academic excellence, and meeting the evolving needs of its students.
